Questions and the ask

Can you get a table that is fully booked?

Sometimes, through relationships we maintain and do not trade on. When we cannot, we say so the same day and offer the honest second choice.

Can you hold a private room at short notice?

Sometimes, and only where we have the relationship. You are told which rooms are genuinely available before anything is promised to your guests.
